'Worn once, no tears, no stains' 2011
A solo exhibition at Space In Between, London
The starting point for this exhibition was the following proposition and it's hypothetical answer:
Q: What could be the bad side of revealing everything always?
A: It wouldn't leave anything for us to do.
This starting point, of the attempt to reveal everything, was used to question the nature of making art today, art-making being taken as a niche market within a wider mass of interpersonal communication.
The initial positive stance (the assumption of a good side) leads to more troubling questions: What would be revealed in the act of divulging everything? Why would one want to do this? What would be left? How could this be accomplished? And how would one know what the truth was in order to reveal it?
